At Tarion’s annual Awards of Excellence ceremony yesterday, The Tricar Group was awarded Tarion’s Ontario High Rise Builder of the Year award for the second year in a row. This award recognizes excellence in customer service delivery and is the home building industry’s most coveted award for customer service.

‘We are honored to be the recipient of this year’s Tarion High Rise Builder of the Year Award’, says Tricar Vice President, Adam Carapella. ‘Winning for the first time last year was such a great experience but winning two years back to back is just exceptional. To excel alongside of the other finalists in the same category including well established Toronto builders such as Tridel, Del Ridge, Concert, Mattamy Homes and The Daniels Corporation is extremely gratifying’.

‘The recognition is purely a testament to our entire team’s continued and dedicated commitment to deliver an outstanding customer service experience as well as an outstanding product. Winning this award is the direct result of what our purchasers had to say about their experience with us and for that reason it couldn’t be any more rewarding. We develop a close relationship with our customers because we truly care and are most thankful for their positive response that rewarded us today.’

Tricar was the first Southwestern Ontario high rise builder to win this prestigious award last year and the only finalist from the region in 2015. To qualify for this award, builders must have at least one hundred new home possessions during the survey timeframe and a specified number of completed questionnaires. Tricar was also a finalist in 2013.

The annual survey is conducted by Tarion and was sent to 49,000 Ontario homeowners who took possession of a new home between October 2013 and September 2014. Homeowner satisfaction with their builder through each stage, from signing the Agreement of Purchase and Sale, through construction, pre-delivery and after-sales service was the focus of the survey questions.
